Preventive Controls for Human Foods
Sep 2017: Small Businesses (a business with fewer than 500 full-time equivalent employees)
Sep 2016: Other businesses (more than 500 full-time equivalent employees)
The supply-chain program requirements of the Preventive Controls rule have a different set of compliance dates, depending on the size of the supplier:
Sept 2017 or March 2018: Small Businesses: Sept 2017, or six months after the supplier is required to comply with the Preventive Controls rule (whichever is later).
March 2017 or March 2018: Other businesses (more than 500 full-time equivalent employees): Six months after the supplier is required to comply with the preventive controls rule.
Intentional Adulteration
May 2020: Small Businesses (business employing fewer than 500 persons)
May 2019: Other Businesses (more than 500 full-time equivalent employees)
Foreign Supplier Verification Program
May 2017 or March 2018: Importers must comply: Six month after the foreign supplier is required to comply with the Preventive Controls rule
