Suppliers
KHI works with suppliers that comply with their local regulations as well as those of the markets where the product is shipped and sold.
As new regulations have been implemented in the USA, KHI is working with suppliers to advise them of these new requirements and verifying they progress towards full compliance.
Customers
FDA requires receiving facilities (our customers) to comply with the supply-chain program of the Preventive Controls rule. This section consists of the approval of suppliers and raw materials based on the verification that every food safety hazard is controlled.
As each customer evaluates their processes and the hazards in their raw materials, they define new requirements from their suppliers.
KHI is prepared to communicate these requirements to the suppliers, gather and review the documentation required to verify compliance and make this documentation available to our customers through our web-based system.
